S10  is a rotary paddle switch for point level detection in bulk solids.
The paddle switch technology detects full, empty or demand conditions on materials such as grain, feed, cement, plastic granulate and wood chips.
It has outstanding features such as good sealing, strong overload capacity, lightweight and easy to installation, large output contacts capacity, etc. In view of the different proportion of material can be done by adjustable tension of the spring, contact material part of its full stainless steel material. Resistance rotary switch in the chemical, plastic, cement, medicine, feed, food and other industries widely used.

Working Principle

A low revolution geared motor with slip clutch drives a rotating measuring vane which senses the presence of material at the mounted level of the S10&S3. As material comes into contact with the rotating paddle, rotation stops, which changes the microswitch state. When the paddle is no longer covered by material, rotation resumes and the relay reverts to its normal condition.
Tension of the spring may be adjusted according to the proportion of the measured medium.  Spring is adjusted to the strongest when material proportion get the max, on the contrary, it is adjusted to the weakest.
