\nProduct Overview<\/p>\n

HLG SERIES self-control whole set throttling devices are widely applied in industries sectors
\nSuch as metallurgy, power, chemical, pharmacy, food, military, scientific research, etc. They are used
\nTo measure, control and adjust flow of the fluids (liquid, gas and vapors). The throttling devices are
\nWith the advantages of simple structure, easy maintenance, reliable performance and high measuring
\nAccuracy.<\/p>\n

Basic Principle<\/p>\n

When the fluid filled in the pipe is flowing through the throttling device in the pipe, the flow will
\nShrink partly at the throttling device, hence the flow velocity increases while the static pressure
\nDecreases to form the differential pressure at the back and forth of the throttling device. The bigger
\nThe flow rate, the larger the differential pressure, so we can measure the flow according to differential
\nPressure. This measuring method is based on Fluxion Continuity Equation (Mass Conservation Law)
\nAnd Bernoulli’s Principle (Energy Conservation Law). The differential pressure is related to flow, as
\nWell as other factors. For example, when the forms of throttling devices or physical properties (density,
\nViscosity) of the fluids in the pipe are different, the differential pressure generates at the same flow rate
\nIs different.<\/p>\n

Classification according to the structure<\/p>\n

1)Standard Orifice Plate: Also called Square Edge Concentric Orifice Plate, is a kind of circular
\nConcentric sheet with sharp square edges. The edges of the bores at the upstream should be sharp
\nSquare angles. Three tapping modes can be provided: Corner tapping, flange tapping and D-D\/2
\nTapping. In order to measure in either of the two directions, we can use symmetrical orifice plate. The
\nTwo edges of the orifice accord the features of upstream edges of the right-angle edge orifice plate, and
\nThe total thickness of the orifice plate doesn’t excess the thickness of the bores of throttling orifice.
\n2)Standard Nozzle
\nTwo kinds of structure provided: ISA1932 Nozzle and Long Radius Nozzle.
\nA. ISA1932 nozzle: The nozzle with upstream face composed of the plane perpendicular to the axis,
\nThe contracted section determined by two arc lines which the outline is circumference, the cylindrical
\nThroat and the groove. Only corner tapping for ISA 1932 Nozzle.
\nB. Long Radius Nozzle: The nozzle with upstream face composed of the plane perpendicular to the
\nAxis, the contracted section which the outline is 1\/4 ellipse, the cylindrical throat and the groove or bevel.<\/p>\n
